What is a staking plan?
A staking plan or staking strategy is the method of defining how much of your bank you should be investing on a particular wager. Having an edge in any wager is essential and how you then stake your money on this wager is an important consideration.
When you invest with HCo Syndicate, we will apply a percentage staking plan to your money at all times. So, we will only risk a small percentage of your investment on each bet we place. This will limit your potential long term risk.
Example
Let's say you invest £20,000.
This means, when your money enters the pot, we will stake a maximum of 1.00% per individual bet we place. So, 1.00% of £20,000 = £200.00 per bet (Maximum).
Now, let's say we lose £1,000 on your first day. This will mean you have £19,000 remaining in the pot. We will then continue to maintain our maximum stake of 1.00% per individual bet, while recalculating our stake amount each day.
So, the following day we will start with £19,000.
This means, we will stake a maximum of £190.00 per bet (1.00% of £19,000).
Should you continue to lose, your balance will certainly decrease, but so will your maximum stake amount, meaning, you will never run out of money, and you'll always remain in the betting fund.
Please note: Our staking plan works the other way too. As your balance increases, so does your maximum stake & profit when we perform well. Essentially, you're investing in the information we're betting on, and not the staking plan. The staking plan is merely a tool used to minimise losses & maximise profits.
